24 Hours of Reality 2016: South Africa on the Road Forward

Faced with record-high temperatures and low rainfall, South Africa is taking climate action with a robust renewable energy incentive programme – the REIP4-  that can serve as a model for other African nations.

The 2016 edition of the 24-hour global broadcast 24 Hours of Reality: The Road Forward hosted by The Climate Reality Project (CRP) drew attention to the scope and scale of the challenge and offered people targeted ways in which they, individually, can make a difference.

In the South African part of the show, hosted organisations such as Africans Rising For Justice, Peace and Dignity, SCATEC Solar Africa as well as poet Mbali Vilakazi.
