Meet Pascale Jacqueline Petit, a designer of sustainable solutions for the mineral and energy sectors

Climate Leaders are diverse in their talents. Some are at the frontline, marching or rallying to generate awareness on climate issues. Others harness the awareness created by the former into solutions for those who are convinced to take action. Pascale Jacqueline Petit is resolutely one of them.

Pascale Jacqueline Petit is a South African-based Climate Leader as well as an independent engineering consultant, with ongoing projects across Africa and Australia. She works in the mineral and energy resource sectors giving her the unique opportunity to provide appropriate energy management methodologies by combining environmental economics with mining practices.

As a Climate Leader, she develops energy conservation and efficiency designs to assist energy intensive mining consumers towards better positioning on the production cost curves.

Pascale’s skill set is important as the necessity for sustainability becomes the norm. She is an active Climate Reality Leader who incorporates sustainable practices and new technology into established activities, for the benefit of our planet.

When Pascale is not working on surface, or in underground mining operations, she delivers (unbiased) talks and presentations, on transitioning the mineral and energy resource sectors to sustainable futures. She also participates in discussions on climate action to plan operational mining endeavours.

An South Africa-based Climate Reality Leader, Pascale Jacqueline Petit is part of a dynamic group of world-changers shaping the conversation on climate in forums ranging from family dinners to boardrooms and international summits. Together they are building a 21st-century movement for solutions to tackle climate change and foster environmental sustainability in Africa and world-wide.
