Pascale Jacqueline Petit is a South African-based Climate Leader as well as an independent engineering consultant, with ongoing projects across Africa and Australia. She works in the mineral and energy resource sectors giving her the unique opportunity to provide appropriate energy management methodologies by combining environmental economics with mining practices.
As a Climate Leader, she develops energy conservation and efficiency designs to assist energy intensive mining consumers towards better positioning on the production cost curves.
Pascale’s skill set is important as the necessity for sustainability becomes the norm. She is an active Climate Reality Leader who incorporates sustainable practices and new technology into established activities, for the benefit of our planet.
When Pascale is not working on surface, or in underground mining operations, she delivers (unbiased) talks and presentations, on transitioning the mineral and energy resource sectors to sustainable futures. She also participates in discussions on climate action to plan operational mining endeavours.
