Tapping into indigenous knowledge to build climate resilience

Climate Reality Leader Nigel Crawhall was on the SAfm Enviro Show with Nancy Richards on 12 January 2017 to discuss the impact of climate change on rural nomadic people, and the environmental knowledge that they have that we should value and tap into – including to tackle and adapt to climate change.

Nigel is the Director of the Secretariat for the Indigenous Peoples of Africa Coordinating Committee (IPAC), the Chair of the Specialist Group on Religion, Spirituality, Environmental Conservation and Climate Justice (ReSpECC).
