Meet Happy Arnold – founder of Youth in Agriculture for Economic Development (YAED) in Malawi, and member of the #Resilient40.
While the 40 under 40 change makers were gathered at the conference, news of Cyclone Idai was flooding the airwaves. In Happy’s home country alone, 56 people died as a result – a devastating demonstration of the crucial importance of being climate resilient. However, Happy believes that Africa’s youth has the power, the voice, and the impact to change the mindsets of people when it comes to fighting the climate crisis.
