WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

ENGAGING THE YOUTH OF AFRICA

On World Environment Day, 5 June 2018, we are calling all African Climate Leaders to engage with the youth of Africa.

There are a few activities you can organise at local schools to participate in this campaign:

  • Give a climate change presentation
  • Organise a climate change debate
  • Establish a Climate Change Club
  • Hold a Climate Action Art competition
  • Hold a climate change essay/short story competition
  • Organise a ‘bicycle-only’ transport day
  • Organise a school bicycle race

During the event, we would also like for you to organise that photographs are taken, and that following you would write a report for us, to share your involvement in this campaign.

We will be hosting webinars shortly to discuss the proposed events in further detail.  If you would like to join our World Environment Day youth campaign and want to be notified of further details please contact our Communications Coordinator, Nicole Rodel.
